How to Reduce Wrinkles? A Secret French Technique

Today I want to tell you about a little secret we have here in France to reduce wrinkles. It’s totally safe and free (no products needed) and at the difference of other techniques, it’s really easy to do it by yourself!

It’s called: « les pincements Jacquet », Jacquet pinches, if you prefer… This pinches technique was invented by Doctor Jacquet in the 30’s to cure war wounds and scarves. His technique worked so well to relief the skin that the pinches technique has been taught in Beautician schools since then and it’s still widely used in French beauty salons.

Even the best dermatologists believe in it.

Do you see how many muscles we have on the face?

How to reduce wrinkles

These muscles need to be stimulated to keep their tone and their firmness.  That’s what Dr. Jaquet discovered and that’s why he invented special gestures to stimulate blood circulation, oxygenate the skin, eliminate dead skin cells and encourage skin renewal.

In this first video, I wanted to focus upon sagging skin, especially around the contours of the face, the neck, and the double chin problem.

In this next video, I tell you how to do it for forehead wrinkles and the vertical frown wrinkles between the eyebrows. What we call the Lion wrinkles.

Despite my French accent, I hope that everything is understandable :))

But, if you need any subtitles, just tell me! ;)

  1. Thank you for that interesting post, Cécile! It is very useful for me as it addresses my specific problem. I’m lucky that I have few lines but i do have sagging skin. I will do my pinches and hope for improvement!

Your French accent is not only perfectly understandable – it is enchanting!

    Best wishes, Anna

  2. Thank you Cecile so much for this fantastic information – have been looking recently at expensive creams – but I have sensitive skin and was afraid to use any – I have been unwell recently – that is why I have not commented <3

    • Hi Denise. Nice to hear from you. I hope you are doing better now. If you have sensitive skin go for thermal water beauty products. Brands like Avène, La Roche Posay, Saint Gervais or Uriage. All these products are not very expensive and they are really trustful. I will write about it soon. Take care.
