Why do you need an insider’s guide to Paris?
Before coming to Paris, you’ve read a lot about the City of Light.
You can’t wait to discover its historic heart and all the finest things that culture can offer visiting the Louvre, Orsay, Orangerie, Cluny Museums, Notre-Dame Cathedral, Sainte-Chapelle, etc.
Well, you’re right.
But the thing is you will have to share this with thousands of other visitors!…
To give you just one figure, do you know that Le Louvre welcome more than 9 million people each year… that makes more than 25 000 people a day! Well, surprisingly they didn’t mention it in your Paris City Guide!
Don’t lose too much time seeing places that won’t interest you that much! Don’t you think that Paris deserves more than a « cliché » touristic tour?…
Lately, I spent a part of my vacation strolling in Paris with friends coming from South of France.
As they don’t come visiting the city very often, they were so happy that I could guide them to the best districts, discovering local stores, charming restaurants, cafés, tearooms and unknown peaceful beautiful museums…
Antics that you won’t find anywhere else
My friends were so happy to escape from the traditional tourist tours that city guides usually propose! They were so happy to benefit from my knowledge of the city. They told me that they really optimize their time to see Paris at its best!
This experience made me think about all foreign visitors coming for holidays and being disappointed by wasting their time waiting in lines for hours,
seeing tourists everywhere (and no real Parisians),
eating expensive and not tasty foods in touristic places,
walking hours to see ordinary things or monuments they’ve already seen thousand times on pictures,
or strolling down the Avenue des Champs Elysées to finally enter an H&M, a Nike Store, or a Mc Donald’s!
